As the national department of health prepares to convene a National Mental Health Review Boards Meeting that is due to take place tomorrow. The Life Esidimeni families and supporting organisations are calling on the NPA to urgently pursue criminal charges against Qedani Mahlangu (the former Gauteng Health MEC) and Dr Kgabo Manamela (the former Director of Mental Health in Gauteng) ahead of this important meeting that will discuss human rights in mental health.
