Earlier today, Transport Minister, Barbara Creecy, says her department was informed that the Lebombo Border Post will remain closed to traffic due to safety concerns. Creecy says the Lebombo Border carries the most road freight in the country. The Minister said her department is pleading for patience from trade associations as it awaits further communication from its Mozambican counterparts about when the border will be opened.
