Yesterday, we spoke to a stranded passanger who was at the OR Tambo International Airport from 11AM. Their flight to East London turned back after it was communicated, they won’t be able to land in East London. Turns out this is not the first time such an incident happened. Flights to and from King Phalo Airport were suspended in October this year, with the Airports Company South Africa blaming inclement weather and Air Traffic and Navigation Services for the chaos.
