Former MK Party Secretary General Floyd Shivambu has announced that he intends to consult various groupings in South Africa over forming a new political party. During this afternoon’s press briefing, Shivambu also for the first time divulged some of the reasons that were used by the MK party to justify his removal as the secretary general of the party. Interestingly, Shivambu also stated that he won’t resign as a member of UMkhonto Wesizwe party even though he has decided to embark on a consultative process.
