Discovery says that a “data breach” making the rounds on Twitter/X is an isolated incident. According to media reports, 20 Discovery Insure clients’ personal information was compromised. Sygnia CEO, Magda Wierzycka was one of the affected customers who complained about the data breach on Twitter/X. According to the email Wierzycka received, Discovery said that an impersonator called their call center requesting personal information. The big question is, what happens when these kinds of things happen?
