Defence counsel Zandile Mshololo says it's not in the interest of justice to recall cellphone data analyst Colonel Lambertus Steyn, in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial as the evidence by Steyn is already on record. The High Court in Pretoria is hearing arguments on the application of the recall of Colonel Steyn. Steyn previously testified that there was communication between Meyiwa's former girlfriend Kelly Khumalo and accused number 5 Fosokuhle Ntuli - twice prior to the 2014 murder of the Bafana Bafana captain. However, Vodacom evidence, does not show the same information that Steyn has submitted. The state wants Steyn to clarify the misinformation- however Mshololo says the state is only making this application because of the contradictions.
