Wacky 911 Calls: From Beer Bottles to Bullet Threats

View descriptionShare

The Morning X features a collection of wacky 911 calls– some real, others questionable – that will make you wonder what people consider an actual emergency. Hear the scenarios that lead people to dial 911, from a caller who escalates a noise complaint with a threat to an elderly woman needing help opening a couple of beer bottles to go to sleep. Discover calls about dirty gas station bathrooms, requests for "emergency takeaway services" for mental health, and even calls asking police to make a son mow the lawn or find a pencil. Barnes, Leslie, Jimmy, and an ex-EMT discuss the abuse of the emergency system and share personal tales. The segment culminates with an all-time classic 911 call featuring an encounter with a deer and a dog that has to be heard to be believed.

This is from the Best of The Morning X vault.
