Mark shares History Flight’s mission to provide closure to families by locating and identifying MIAs in locations worldwide, with over 165 identifications and 400 recoveries. He recounts the story of finding a wedding ring sent by a wife to her husband during WWII and how this transformed his focus from plane restoration to MIA recovery. Mark details the challenges and meticulous research required in these searches, including efforts to locate a P-47 pilot in Belgium with the help of local residents and ground-penetrating radar.
