Barnes, Leslie and Crash discuss two emerging Gen Z trends: micro-retiring and telephobia. Micro-retiring involves taking short breaks throughout one’s career rather than a long retirement at the end. Surprisingly, the team agrees it’s a smart concept for mental health and work-life balance. Crash envisions himself taking early retirement to Florida, hosting events even at 80.

On the other hand, telephobia – fear of making phone calls – gets mocked. Gen Z is reportedly taking classes to learn how to handle phone conversations. Barnes and Leslie joke about hosting their own “phone call training” segment on the show. Crash finds it absurd that people need lessons on something so basic.
