Summer Bay is set for a shake-up with two new faces joining Home and Away — a strict new cop and his daughter. They may be new to the show, but these actors are no strangers to the screen, boasting impressive credits.

Well, some of Ay is about to get a shake up with two new cast members joining the series. Not only is there a new strict cop working the beat, but his daughter will also be calling the beachside Paradise home.

And while they might be new characters for Home and Away, these stars are certainly no strangers to the small screen, with some pretty impressive acting credits to their names.

And Madison Brown and Jeremy Lindsey Taylor join us live. Hello team, Hi father, can.

You see the resemblance?

Absolutely, Jeremy, you were joining the show as a Yabbie Creek cop. So tell us about Sergeant David Langham.

That's right, new sheriff in town comes into town looking for his daughter, another daughter, two daughters, and they're dealing with some past trauma. He has to deal with a lot of drama. Obviously, there's crime, as my mum said home, mum texting she loves the show, saying there's a hornet's nest of crime in the bay. Hurry up, sarge.

So that's what your mom tics.

That's what she's if she's on the on the thing, the pulse of this youth crime epidemic, she is, she is. It's something they need the time police day. I don't know why you work out of Yaby Creek, to be honest, but good, good point in someone on the ground at all times. Yeah, that Madison, you're playing Joe Jeremy's daughter. Yes, having having a tough cop as your dad, I'm sensing I'm sensing some drama, some tension.

Oh, I don't know.

We'll just have to wait and see. But as Jeremy said, you know, our family comes in with a pretty tragic backstory that's kind of torn this family apart. And Lacey, played by Sophia Pennington, is the other member of the family in the bay. So it's just been a lot of fun, you know, shooting and getting in the thick of it. And I feel very lucky that my character has so much to work with because of her backstory. Without playing too much, Yeah, I'm actually looking at.

You, Actually look like far throughto it is. I was gonna say the eyes, but now I thought I was looking too deeply into it is.

The eyes discussed it's.

Really good classic Jeremy your phone. It was posted on the Home and Away Facebook page. Now fans were quick to notice that they thought you looked a little bit familiar, So we do need to say you have appeared on Home and Away before I have.

I have. I've played a bad cop in twenty sixteen, a man called.

There he.

Had to get rid of him, Dylan Carter. And but this man is very different. David Langhamy is a nice man, hard but fair and a loving father, and which is pretty easy working with Madison and Sophia. So it's been an absolute joy.

Were not spoiling anything by those characters. Aren't going to blend at some stage, You're not coming back.

I pitched that.

I thought that would be called possible.

You would be onto it too, Madison, because you've you've had some quite an experience working over in the US on some big shows like Dynasty, for example.

Dinner Steel, Dynasty.

What's well, Look, we say Dynasty, but they say Dynasty, So like I don't know, dealer's choice, I say Dynasty out of habit. Yeah, I'll just leave it at that.

Dynasty would do that. Dynasty would blend the storylines for sure. That's what's it like being back home for you?

Oh, it's so nice. I was really homesick when I was away, and I feel really lucky that I get to be in Sydney and working. It's been a dream of mine for a really long time. Like when we shoot up at Palm Beach and I come out, I'm like, wow, I can't believe this is my office now. So it's really pinched me.

Because the good on you for keeping the Aussie accent.

Oh yeah, well I played in Australian on the show on Dynasty.

Really, you know, I have people who may have only been there for a little bit can sometimes tend to pick up the excits.

Eleven years and that still sound like this.

Love it, Love it, Jeremy. Of course we referred to the previous time and a home away, but you've appeared on lots of other shows as well, Blue Healers, Heartbreak, high Sea Patrol, Hou's Home and Away. Comparing to those other Aussie dramatic experience.

It's fantastic. I mean, home is it thirty seven years now? It's that says everything, you know, five episodes a week we're doing. Everyone works so hard. It's a big family and it's a machine that just keeps going. And yeah, I mean you have your peaks and troughs as a as an actor, and it's wonderful when you're working in. This is a steady job. It's all year and it's just a joy to be at the bay and working with these beautiful actors. It's incredible.

You were born to serve though. I mean, you played the healers in Sea Patrol. You know you've obviously there's something about the face that says you can trust this man deserves authority, use it will use it wisely.

Yeah, yeah, look trust him. And that's the home many ways and all you've got going on. You've got another job too, which keeps you pretty busy. It's beauty brand.

That's that.

I started a sunscreen bran with my big sister two and a half years ago. It's called Outside Beauty and Skincare. So yeah, Home and Away is like the nine to five, and the startup is like the five to nine. You know, it's around the clock all the time, but it's very rewarding.

Well, well, if that would come in hand you with all these long hours.

And maybe levels are really high on Yabby Creek, we need to stay on top of that.

Really love to see you both. Congratulations on the gig. Jeremy, We're going to see you tonight. What are any special plans.

We're going to go and watch it with my mum and my brother and sister. Hi again, Mum, she's pretty heavily invested in this, she is. I can't wait.

I love it. You can watch Jeremy's first episode of Home and Away tonight seven pm here on seven and seven Plus. And Madison, your deboot is coming very soon. Yes, so we're going to get dad in there first he settles in and then we'll get to meet you, and then.

I really settling the bay.

Thanks guys, lovely to meet you. Thank you,
