For more, Jim Jefferies joins.

Well, here's the comedian keeping us on our toes and managing to make the one percenta's laugh. As host of seven's hit quiz show The one Percent Club, Jim Jeffrey has built a massive global audience with his specials also becoming some of the most popular shows on streaming.

Here's the thing about you. You are the most progressive generation that's ever been. That is true. You are the most progressive generation that's ever been. But here's something for you. Every generation before you has also been the most progressive generation.

That's ever been.

Now the star is returning home Time Soil with a brand new show, and he's promising to give them what they want, one wild joke at a time. Jim Jefferies joined us live out La La Land.

Hello mate, Hello guys you thanks for having me on the show.

Nice to see the name of your tour. Given what they want?

What are you giving them?

I'm giving them what they want. I'm giving the jokes that all my fans have wanted out of me for all these years. You know, dirty humorus stories. Not much political stuff these days, you know. Just give them the audience what they want. That's exactly what it says on the thing.

Is this the stuff that you hold back from on your show, the things you want to say but maybe can't.

Well, yeah, of course the live show is a lot more risky than say doing the one percent Club or something like that. You know, it's like when you get Larry in the pub and the way he talks see this if that you know, how are you?

I look what you're talking about.

I love your live shows. I remember sitting at one going eighty five percent that's really funny and fifteen percent or more going. You can't say that?

Is that? Is that the reaction you want?

Well, you want to be you want to be a bit divisive. Do you want people to say that I hated it or I liked it? You don't want everyone to agree? That's that's the that's the way to get fans. I imagine. I just really do the jokes that I think that I'd want to hear myself.

Yeah, and not just in capital city. You're going to take this to the country as well.

Well. We just we sold out Melbourne and we've so we've added a show. It doesn't makes it, but we added a show in Geelong. We're doing Newcastle. Is that the country regional do you reckon that's regional. These are big towns, these are big arenas. We're playing out there. I'm sure they don't think that they're regional.

We're doing just the capital city is.

Can you not insult our guests for the Yeah.

No, I wanted to do shows in Dubbo and all that type of stuff, but they said the theaters weren't big enough. It's not my fault.

Your fault is so popular. And like with packed them.

Out, you get arrested for something that stuff in Dubbo. What about pushing me envelope when you're writing the shows, when you're getting ready for the shows, you go, I can go to here, but I can't go here where you just got all out.

Look I've got for a while there during the height of cancel culture, I obviously was trying to watch what I was saying. And now my new policy is I say so many of offensive things that if I get canceled, I go, what joke was it again? You know, I think that's the best way. So you flood the market so they can't really get you.

I can't quite pin you down. You're also doing a chair alongside UK commedtean Jimmy Carr. What makes two of you a good pet?

Well, me and Jimmy both get in the same amount of trouble all the time. The two of us are going to tour across Canada. We've been friends for about, oh maybe twenty years, and me and Jimmy Carr, so you know, twice as long as his new face, I reckon and.

We are.

Jimmy Jimmy Carr. Jimmy Carr is, in all honesty, one of the greatest comedians that has ever been and I'm really stunning that he agreed to do a tour the likes of me. And so we're going to do a great, big one in Canada in sort of in the round where you feel like you're a boxer and everyone's going to be around us in a little square in the center of a stage.

Okay, now, is there someone else you'd like to work with alongside apart from Jimmy.

Look, I'm pretty good working by myself. But you know, if there's some famous comedian who wants to work with me, I'll work with them. Yet I'll tell you what I would enjoy doing. I wouldn't mind doing a gig with Rodney Rude. To be honest with you, I grew up listening to his CDs in the car and it's pretty risky to say that these days. And he's got to be in his eighties. But I've never met him, and I think that would be a great thing. I'm not allowed to mention this, and this is something that Channel seven hasn't announced yet, but we just three weeks ago we recorded Jim Jefferies and Friends, where I came to Melbourne and we got comedians from all over the world, and we're going to be producing a stand up show for Channel seven. Channel seven hasn't seen the material yet. I don't know how it's going to get on the regular air, but we're going to give it a go.

So the thing and allowed to talk about we've just spoken about that was like if we get in trouble, it was your idea.

And we expect to see that on seven. Made at three am somewhere lovely to see you. Can't wait to see you down here. I'll be the one in about the fifth row in your show like this.

Oh you can't say that, mud all right.

I look forward to seeing you both. I'll come in studio next time.

Yeah, maybe not that's too scary for us.

Come in, come here. Well, that's if you've still got a job now that you're blind. The secret we may never see you again.
