A new, sustainable after-life memorial option is now available to those who have lost a loved one in Minnesota. 

 Better Place Forests provides families with the option to release their loved ones’ (pets too) ashes and dedicate them to a protected tree site in St Croix Valley Memorial Forest. The ashes are mixed with soil and spread at the base of the tree, becoming forever part of the forest. Not only is this a special way to memorialize those who have passed, it offers a natural alternative to cemeteries.
