Ajiona Alexus and Da’Vinchi joined TMH to talk about their newest projects on Lifetime, Strength of a Woman and Real Love. Both movies are executive produced by Mary J. Blige. They talked about how Mary J. Blige and her team were very involved in wardrobe and the creative side. Real Love is set in the 1990’s at an HBCU in North Carolina and it is a love story. Strength of a Woman is a continuation of that story. They talk about it being naturally fitting in the HBCU culture. Da’Vinchi talked about his Haitian heritage and having a different relationship with his parents than other people. He also squashed the rumor that he is married. He just doesn’t want to answer dating questions. Both Ajiona and Da’Vinchi spoke about being on set and people thinking they were together. Aijiona discussed how she doesn’t feel like she is really working with the career that she has as an actor. Lore’l and Kyle Santillian spoke with Da’Vinchi and Ajiona about more black people being on Lifetime movies and how they were able to transition to these roles rather than BMF.
