The Department of Energy is awarding $90 million to a company that has promised to build a large solar project on a former coal mine in central Pennsylvania. Police are investigating a hoax call that led to a temporary lockdown at a college in Union County. A central Pennsylvania animal shelter is dealing with a large influx of stray dogs.
