View descriptionShare

Despite low unemployment, enrollment in the state’s food assistance program has climbed to a record high of more than two million people. A new study from West Virginia University offers a promising path forward for treating Alzheimer's disease.  The state is contributing $7.5 million for criminal defense for people who cannot afford a lawyer. The funding addresses Pennsylvania’s reputation as one of the only states in the country that did not fund public defense.
