U.S. Steel  plans a rally today in Western Pennsylvania to support its acquisition by Nippon Steel, even as reports suggest President Joe Biden will block the sale. 

Western Pennsylvania oil and gas company PennEnergy will pay a $2 million penalty, and reduce pollution from its facilities, in a proposed settlement with the Justice Department.
