Penn State faces fiscal woes, and Penn researchers focus on safety and effectiveness of early COVID-19 vaccines

Penn State plans to cut the budgets of many of its colleges and campuses in an upcoming fiscal year. Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania wanted to know the real-world effectiveness, safety, and durability of the first COVID vaccines given to adolescents and children early on in the pandemic. The Pennsylvania primary is on April 23rd, but those voting by mail have a few extra steps. Authorities have identified three people killed in a house fire in Lebanon County as two adults and a 7-year-old girl. The NRA’s annual Great American Outdoor Show is set to open its doors in Harrisburg next month. But the organization announced an NRA Presidential Forum will be held for the first time this year and former President Donald Trump is scheduled to be the keynote speaker.
