Pa.'s Democratic delegates back VP Kamala Harris; Central Pa. voters weigh in on the presidential race

Democratic delegates in Pennsylvania are backing Vice President Kamala Harris for president following President Joe Biden’s sudden exit from the race.

 A congressional committee investigating the attempted assassination of former president Donald Trump have visited Butler County. 

A new Pennsylvania program will offer free legal representation to low-income renters facing an eviction. 

The head of the Environmental Protection Agency has unveiled federal grants to state and local governments to fight climate change, during a visit to western Pennsylvania.

A new Pennsylvania law paves the way for the state to oversee the practice of storing carbon dioxide emissions deep underground. Preventing emissions from reaching the atmosphere is a proposed solution for “greening” some industries-such as hydrogen production. 

Midstate voters are feeling a range of emotions after President Joe Biden said he is stepping down from his re-election campaign and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris to run in his place. WITF reporters went into central Pennsylvania communities to bring you a snapshot of voters’ reactions.
