Lawsuit says Pa. county deliberately hid decisions to toss some mail ballots; Gun violence drops in Pa.

Voters and civil rights groups are suing Washington County because its elections office stopped notifying voters when their mail ballots were being rejected. 

With the state budget deadline now in the rear-view mirror, lawmakers will scramble this week to resolve some key differences.

Last year, Pennsylvania had the second largest decline in gun homicides in the country. Now, elected leaders and gun violence reform advocates are talking about why, and how they can do better.

 A temporary replacement is on the job to head the Dauphin clerk of courts office.
