How do provisional ballots work?; Pa. school board to reconsider its move to cancel Maulik Pancholy's visit

In a few instances tomorrow, voters will be asked to cast provisional ballots. They  are backstops to ensure people have the opportunity to vote even when there’s confusion or something goes wrong.

The issue of  democracy is front in center in the race for the 10th Congressional seat, held by Republican Scott Perry. WITF has asked each candidate, including Perry, what their messaging on democracy is. Today, hear from Democrat Shamaine Daniels.
