Republican state senators who opposed certifying Pennsylvania’s 2020 presidential votes are advancing two election bills, preparing them for a vote by the full Senate. A state House committee is moving several bills to the floor including two that deal with issues surrounding transparency and campaign finance. Budget holdups in Congress mean Pennsylvania has a gap in funding for a program that helps low-income residents pay their heating bills. Three people - including a Lutheran pastor - are facing charges of trespassing after protesting in front of Governor Josh Shapiro’s office in the state Capitol. Armed thieves working in broad daylight attacked a security guard and robbed his van of cash from video machine collection boxes in Franklin County. A Lancaster County judge won’t dismiss the state Department of Agriculture’s lawsuit against farmer Amos Miller over his raw milk sales.
