Court tosses GOP Pa. lawmakers challenge to actions designed to boost voter access

A federal court has dismissed an attempt by conservative state lawmakers to overturn automatic voter registration in Pennsylvania, along with lawmakers' other challenges to actions designed to boost voter access. The U.S. Supreme Court has heard oral arguments in a case that might require patients seeking abortion care to undergo procedures that some find invasive. The average household wastes about 10 thousand gallons of water a year.  Water providers are encouraging people to conserve their water by fixing leaky faucets and toilets. The company that had hoped to develop housing on a former country club in York County has withdrawn its plans.
