Court rules in fight over Scott Perry's cell phone data, near-collisions non-issue at HIA, and the hot weather is impacting crops

View descriptionShare

A federal court is pushing Republican midstate Congressman Scott Perry's appeal back to a lower court without a ruling, but with guidance on how to evaluate which of his cell phone communications to shield from the FBI. For now, hundreds of communications remain hidden from investigators looking into Perry's role in attempts to keep former President Donald Trump in power -- despite losing the 2020 election. Although a New York Times investigation shows near-collisions spiking at airports across the country, HIA's one-runway design prevents many near-collisions. The dry, hot weather is taking a visible toll on area farms.
