County jails and prisons in Pennsylvania are making progress dealing with staffing shortages. Pennsylvanians are getting four extra days to sign up for subsidized health insurance through Pennie – the state-run marketplace exchange. The Commonwealth will soon use artificial intelligence in some of its operations. Young voters are emerging as a powerful voting bloc. Across Central Pennsylvania, many are hoping to make a difference in this year's presidential and U-S Senate races.
