Clean up efforts could take weeks in the wake of Friday's tornado in Harrisburg as the remnants of tropical storm Debby crossed Pennsylvania. 

(UPDATE at 7:12a.m. on 8/13/24) A boil water advisory has been lifted for more than 42,000 Pennsylvania American Water customers in Cumberland County.

Blood banks across the state are facing shortages of type O blood, and are calling on people to donate. 

Pregnant workers in Pennsylvania can ask their employers for reasonable accommodations - no doctor’s note needed - due to the Pregnant Worker Fairness Act. The federal law is a year in -- but its enforcement went into full effect recently.
