Central Pa. school board cancels actor Maulik Pancholy's anti-bullying event over his "lifestyle"

A Cumberland County school district has canceled an upcoming appearance by actor and children’s book author Maulik Pancholy. The move came  after district leaders cited concerns about what they described as his activism and “lifestyle.”

All Pennsylvania standardized tests - including the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment and Keystone Exams - will move online by 2026.

Sandwiched between the uncontested presidential primary and scattered local races Tuesday are several statewide races that are contested within the Democratic and Republican parties.
