Another snow day, PPL prepares for potential outages, and chickens as emotional support animals

Central Pennsylvania is under a winter weather advisory until 10:00 tonight. Between two and four inches of snow is expected during the day. After recent winter weather caused power outages for tens of thousands of people, PPL is preparing to respond to issues during today’s storm. The number of human trafficking-related offenses in Pennsylvania decreased by nearly 41 percent from 2021 to 2022. But, it's important to know that looking at the number of offenses charged does not draw a full picture of how much trafficking is happening in the state. A U.S. appeals court has ruled Pennsylvania can't stop young adults from openly carrying guns in public during a state of emergency. A Berks County community is wrestling with a zoning issue over emotional support chickens.
