Today’s featured guest is Dr. Marcus Peter Johnson who is Professor of Theology at Moody Bible Institute. He holds a BA in Theology from the Moody Bible Institute, a Master of Arts in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a PhD from the University of Toronto. Along with writing his doctoral dissertation on union with Christ in the theology of John Calvin, he is also the author of One with Christ: An Evangelical Theology of Salvation, he is also the coauthor (with John C. Clark) of The Incarnation of God: The Mystery of the Gospel as the Foundation of Evangelical Theology, and he is also the co-author (with John C. Clark) of the book “A Call to Christian Formation: How Theology Makes Sense of Our World.” He and his wife, Stacie, live in Chicago with their three sons, and serves as an associate rector at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Geneva.

Today’s featured guest is Dr.Deborah Gorton who is the Gary Chapman Chair of Marriage, Family Ministry, and Therapy and she is the Program Head and Associate Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Moody Theological Seminary and Graduate School. She has a BA from Arizona State University, a MA in Theology, a MA in Psychology, and a PhD in Clinical Psychology all from Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. Gorton is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has worked as a change agent for individuals, organizations, and emerging leaders, helping them refine, embrace, and thrive in their purpose. Built on the foundation of relationship, her core philosophy is that collaboration in community produces radical transformation. Today’s featured guest is Dr. Craig Hendrickson.

After retiring from an eleven-year career in the Canadian Football League in 2001, Dr. Craig Hendrickson spent sixteen years in full-time ministry in Long Beach-California, Brooklyn-New York, and here in Chicago as well. His service in church settings included time as an assistant and lead pastor, and as a district leader in the Free Methodist Church. He has also served as an adjunct professor for Fuller Theological Seminary and North Park University, and as a trainer and leadership partner with the Arrow Leadership Program. His passion is equipping current and future leaders to engage in multicultural and missional ministry, and his research interests center on bringing these distinct disciplines together. His dream is to see a network of leaders working toward spiritual transformation, racial healing, and economic justice in diverse urban communities across North America through multiethnic ministry. Dr. Hendrickson has a BA in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Divinity from Regent College, a Master of Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a PhD in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary focusing on missionary leadership and intercultural ministry.
