Former minister of sports, arts, and culture Zizi Kodwa resigned as an ANC member of the National Assembly effective immediately, following allegations of corruption. Two days after showing up in court for a pre-trial conference in his corruption case, Kodwa, who also held the position of deputy minister under President Cyril Ramaphosa overseeing state security, presented a letter of resignation to the African National Congress (ANC) on Thursday.
