The pan-African operator reported a rebound in profitability, supported by strong performances in key markets such as Nigeria and Ghana, rising data usage, and growth in its fintech services. The group declared a dividend of 500 cents per share and also outlined an evolved strategy focused on three core platforms connectivity, fintech and digital infrastructure as it looks to capture the next phase of digital growth across Africa

The development is creating additional pressure on an office that already processes tens of thousands of consumer complaints each year while trying to maintain a fast and efficient resolution process.
