SA medical marijuana company Cilo Cybin is aiming for greater holdings and maybe a US listing. The R89-billion misery of petrol prices in South Africa

  • In the near future, Cilo Cybin Holdings intends to make other acquisitions in the biotech and medical cannabis industries.The group plans to list as a special purpose acquisition vehicle (SPAC) on the AltX on June 25 and hopes to go public in the US in the coming years. The company is searching both locally and internationally for the acquisition of distribution companies and other branded products. To provide further details, Gabriel Theron, the founder and CEO of Cilo Cybin, speaks to host Motheo Khoaripe.
  •  In the current fiscal year, the government anticipates earning over R89 billion from the general gasoline charge, which brings its total revenue over the last ten years to over R730 billion. Although this month's high prices for gasoline and diesel provided some respite for South Africans, the cost of fuel is still more than 50% more than it was two years ago and almost twice as high as it was ten years ago.
