Concerns abound as industrial gas users express dissatisfaction with the proposed solutions outlined in the draft gas master plan, fearing a looming crisis in 2026. The plan's unrealistic timelines and absence of viable remedies have left stakeholders apprehensive about the future, with the looming threat of "day zero" when gas supply from Mozambique ceases. As pressure mounts, Jaco Human, CEO of the Industrial Gas Users Association of Southern Africa emphasises the need for swift and effective action in order to  avert potential economic repercussions and job losses

Motsuenyane, a founding member of the National African Federated Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was instrumental in establishing the African Bank.
