Australia's teal independents could band together to form a new party, according David Pocock, with the aim to push back against the growing influence of One Nation.

The talks are reportedly led by Zali Steggall and Allegra Spender.

Australian correspondent Steve Price says the new party could be the end of the Liberal Party in Australia.
