A magnitude 4.8 earthquake hit Victoria in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to recent reports, residents were woken up by the shaking around 2am, with people feeling the quake across Melbourne's south-east.
Australian correspondent Steve Price says the region's usually pretty benign, with this being the most notable earthquake since 2021.
