Former Victorian premier Daniel Andrews has been awarded the highest honour – the Companion of the Order of Australia this Australian King’s Birthday.
Andrews has been recognised for his service to the people and Parliament of Victoria, public health, policy and regulatory reform, and infrastructure development.
Australia Correspondent Steve Price told Mike Hosking “There will be a lot of angry people.”
Price said “It’s supposed to be awarded by an independent body, but it has the Labour government stamped all over it.”
