British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is under pressure as his flagship migrant deportation bill is set to be voted on this week.

The proposed law would see illegal immigrants who arrive in the UK sent to Rwanda.

But the bill's courted controversy, with the latest being some conservative Tory MPs questioning its effectiveness. 

UK correspondent Rod Liddle told Mike Hosking that lawyers have also been called in to analyse the bill.

He says lawyers will have the final say no matter what the government tries to do.

Rebel Sport's seen a $3.6 million jump in its half year results, with sales driven by the Warriors, Auckland FC, and the All Blacks. 

Briscoes Group believes having high-profile sporting events across various codes contribute to the boost. 

Co-founder of Dynasty Sport Tyler Rakich, who create the Warriors merch, told Mike Hosking it's about creating something people want to wear. 

He says creating things outside of what's just worn on the field is seeing great success.

National's finance spokesperson is holding firm that breaking up Foodstuffs is the best solution. 

If approved by the Commerce Commission, the party would carve off Pak'nSave from New World and Four Square to compete with each other and Woolworths. 

Foodstuffs is promising to fight the plan, saying it could increase food prices by making business less efficient.  

But Nicola Willis told Mike Hosking it's been a lengthy, analytical process. 

She says there's no doubt this restructure would benefit the Kiwi shopper given how unusual our grocery sector is.
