Donald Trump's lawyers continue to cross-examine his former fixer in court in a potential turning point of the hush money trial.

Michael Cohen was an attorney for the former-President from 2006 to 2018 and is the prosecution's last witness.

He's told the prosecutors he paid adult star Stormy Daniels on behalf of Trump to ensure the story would not come out before the 2016 election.

US correspondent, Richard Arnold told Mike Hosking that Cohen previously said he'd do just about anything for Trump.

He says after serving jail time, Cohen believes Trump should 'rot' for what he did to Cohen and his family.

Average Kiwis aren't the only ones shopping locally, McDonald's is too. 

The fast food giant spent more than $580 million on New Zealand produced ingredients last year, with around 90% of the ingredients it uses here being locally sourced. 

This includes 17 million kilograms of Canterbury potatoes, 10.5 million eggs, and more than 6,400 tonnes of beef.  

McDonald's NZ Head of Impact and Communications, Simon Kenny told Mike Hosking they're very fortunate in New Zealand that virtually everything on the menu can be sourced locally, and that's always their first point of call. 

He says in other markets, such as Asia, North America, and Western Europe, ingredients are sourced from all sorts of places.

The Warriors have officially sold-out Mt Smart Stadium. 

Saturday's qualifying final against the Dolphins sold out within minutes of general tickets going on sale – around 25,000 fans set to pack the stadium. 

CEO Cameron George told Mike Hosking the Dolphins are a good side, but they've trained well and the boys are up for it. 

He says there is no easy game and they've had tight games with the Australian side in the past, but they believe in themselves. 

"We're at home and we're ready to rumble."
