The Friends star died in his hot tub last October from the acute effects of ketamine and subsequent drowning.
Five people are facing charges, including two doctors for falsely prescribing, selling, or injecting Ketamine to Perry.
Sky News reports court documents reveal doctor Salvador Plasencia wrote in a text: "I wonder how much this moron will pay".
US Correspondent Richard Arnold told Mike Hosking the doctors could face life in prison if convicted.
