Tauranga is considering a pretty creative solution to satisfying the anti fluoride crowd, by setting up a fluoride free tap on the outskirts of town.
Tauranga Mayor Mahé Drysdale says the resolution is about giving people options.
Drysdale says council meetings have hosted a 'couple of hundred' people which indicates there is a very vocal group of people passionate about this issue.
