It took another plunge in March with just 9% of passenger car sales being EV, falling from about 27% for all of 2023.
Vehicle Import Association Chief Executive Greig Epps told Mike Hosking that some dealers are doing better than expected while others are having a tough time.
He says there was a real rush, with the incentive helping to create demand.
But in the aftermath to that —and with cost-of-living impacts and interest rates— we're now seeing a tail off.
