The Prime Minister says sport will likely be top of mind for his Indian counterpart when he visits this week.
Narendra Modi will fly into Auckland on Friday for a one day visit - marking our first visit of an Indian leader in 40 years.
He's set to hold a bilateral with Chris Luxon, meet business leaders and attend an Indian-New Zealand community event.
Luxon told Mike Hosking that Modi is really interested in sport.
He says they want to host the 2036 Olympics and are interested in our high-tech sports approach.
