After four years as CEO, Nick Hazell is stepping away from an active role at v2food, the Australia-based producer of plant-based meat substitutes.
Hazell, a former R&D leader at Masterfoods and PepsiCo, led the charge at v2food with a passion for the future of food and our planet.
Under his leadership, the company's value increased from $2 million to over $500 million in just two and a half years.
The company, a partnership between Competitive Foods Australia and Main Sequence Ventures, produces plant-based meat alternatives using protein extracted from legumes. Phil Morle, a Partner at Main Sequence Ventures, is also involved.
