#390 Surviving the Storm: The role of customer service during an economic downturn

View descriptionShare

Bill Gremos is an entrepreneur who grew up behind his parents' fast-food and convenience stores.

From starting as a teenage market trader to founding the household name DecoRug, Bill has been in business since the age of 17.

Having sold and exited from DecoRug, he has now founded HomeMakerCentral, Australia's first eShopping Home SuperCentre exclusively for well-known homeware retailers such as Barbeques Galore, Beds n Dreams, and Villeroy & Boch. The e-commerce platform empowers established bricks-and-mortar retailers to 'muscle-up' against pure-play online competition.

Gremos shares how he navigated the challenges of the global financial crisis and why customer service is integral to survival.
