It's happening way faster than we expected, AI is already competing in something once limited and excelled at by humans: creating propaganda and disinformation. We've been hearing a lot about ChatGPT and while this tech can be incredibly helpful, the inverse is true, it can be incredibly harmful. When asked, ChatGPT created propaganda in the style of pro-Russia of Chinese authoritarian government media.
