WHY DID DOUGCO TAKE CONTAMINATED LAND FOR KIDS TO PLAY ON? That's the question my guest at 1 and so many other have about a land deal done by the Three Kings Of the County Commission Douglas County. They want to build a massive sports complex called Zebulon, but they did a land swap with a developer who didn't want to have to worry about contamination from the old Dupont factory. Now the county is going to put a bunch of ball fields on TOP of the contamination or leave the taxpayers on the hook for any further mitigation that needs to be done.
