Woody is Back!

The Brewers are back in the NLCS, so Dan and Brandon start by answering the important question: What would you sacrifice if it guaranteed the Brewers a World Series? Shaved heads? Blonde hair? A Brewers tattoo? The guys make some interesting—and potentially regrettable—promises.

Then it's game time.

Dan and Brandon go head-to-head in a $20 auction to build the ultimate 1990s NFL quarterback lineup, bidding on legends like Brett Favre, Dan Marino, Troy Aikman, John Elway, Steve Young, Jim Kelly and more. There's strategy, second-guessing, questionable spending and plenty of debate over which five-quarterback team is better.

And just when you think they're done, the guys start building their next challenge: a pizza topping draft.

It's another completely unscripted episode of The Man Cave Podcast—sports, memories, competition and a whole lot of fun.

Brewers World Series Sacrifices & The 90s QB Auction

Youth sports are supposed to be about kids—but somewhere along the way, things have gotten complicated.

Dan Kasper sits down with Meagan Frank, author of For the Team: How to Improve the Youth Sports Experience for Everyone, for a wide-ranging conversation about what’s happening in youth sports today.

They talk about the growing pressure on young athletes, the battle over playing time, early specialization, pay-to-play sports, parents getting too emotionally invested, and the challenges coaches face when trying to put development ahead of winning.

Megan also shares her own experiences as an athlete, coach and parent, why a hockey rink incident helped inspire her book, and why she believes fun and competition can—and should—coexist.

Most importantly, the conversation comes back to one question: Are we creating the youth sports experience our kids actually deserve?

Are We Ruining Youth Sports? Parents, Pressure & Playing Time | Megan Frank

Dan Kasper and Brandon Berg are back in The Man Cave to debate one of football's most underappreciated positions: the fullback.

From Lorenzo Neal and Mike Alstott to Larry Centers, Daryl Johnston, Tom Rathman and Jim Kleinsasser, the guys reveal their personal top five fullbacks of all time and discuss what made these players so valuable to their teams. It's a position that has evolved over the years, but the guys make the case for why a great fullback can still be a weapon in today's NFL.

Before the rankings, Dan and Brandon tackle a question every sports fan has probably considered: Is it ever acceptable to boo your own team? After hearing from listeners, they share their thoughts on fan expectations, frustration, and where the line should be drawn.

Plus, the guys roll the dice to determine their next challenge: an auction-style draft to build the ultimate group of 1990s NFL quarterbacks.

It's football nostalgia, passionate debate, and plenty of unscripted Man Cave conversation.
