The toll that the Aafia Siddiqui saga has taken on the immediate family is tremendous, but the tenacity to keep going is incessant and drives the family to rally behind this pursuit of justice.

Fowzia Siddiqui was described by Clive Stafford Smith as the sister that anyone in trouble would wish to have. For years, and as Aafia Siddiqui endured the most horrid injustice, her immediate family including her surviving children, her late mother and most significantly her sister, Neurologist and campaigner, Fowzia, have never given up on the pursuit for justice for Aafia.

In this episode, Anas Altikriti catches up with Fowzia before her trip to the US, seeking the release of her sister.

Remembrance is an important element to the Kashmiri plight of over 78 years, as it stands fully deserving of the title, The Forgotten Occupation, but what are the practical steps that could or indeed should be taken to realise the aspirations of Kashmir?

Dr. Mubeen Shah is someone who speaks with a rich experience behind his back. He has seen the insides of Indian prison cells and has sufficient political acumen to have him stand tall in the arena of intellectual and political debate over the pathway towards Kashmiri self-determination.

In this episode, he speaks with Anas Altikriti about his own experiences as well as the importance of never forgetting the sacrifices made by the Kashmiri people and the objective of self-determination.

Dr. Guma El-Gamaty knows more than most about the history and present of Libya. In this episode he discusses with Anas Altikriti the reasons for why Libya moved from a glorious and historic revolution in February 2011 to a state of chaos and civil violence within less than 4 years.

He discusses the role and significant impact of the Qaddafi regime, and also the political scenarios available to the political players, and the aspirations of the Libyan people caught up in all of this.
