Just like virtually all people around the world, the Malaysia people feel a strong connection with Palestine and an affinity that transcends borders and ethnicities. The Malaysian perspective on Palestine and how that fits within a view on international politics is highly interesting.

The ongoing genocide against the people of Gaza has reverberated far and wide. Malaysia is one of the foremost countries that responded intensely, through its humanitarian and medical endeavours, if not in similarly public displays of protest and anger witnessed in the West.

Dr. Mubeen Shah is someone who speaks with a rich experience behind his back. He has seen the insides of Indian prison cells and has sufficient political acumen to have him stand tall in the arena of intellectual and political debate over the pathway towards Kashmiri self-determination.

In this episode, he speaks with Anas Altikriti about his own experiences as well as the importance of never forgetting the sacrifices made by the Kashmiri people and the objective of self-determination.
