Whilst the world focuses on the genocide unfolding in Gaza, Kashmir continues to endure its own occupation and cultural, religious and ethnic annihilation by Indian authorities, amid indifference from its supposedly closest allies.
Kashmir has been occupied by India since 1947, and despite UN resolutions and international agreements pertaining to a referendum by the people of Kashmir, India continues to ignore all of that, favouring mass murder, annihilation, torture and cultural and physical genocide instead, relying on its standing as a global economic powerhouse.
Zaffar Ahmad Quraishi speaks with Anas Altikriti to discuss how further light could be shed on this issue and the scenarios for a resolution.
