With collabs from the likes of Blxst, T-Pain, Ari Lennox, and Tinashe, Buddy’s latest full-length project is the result of the 2020 pandemic, as the rapper diligently crafted the effort.

Buddy explains how he connected with T-Pain and how he couldn’t let the city down after he secured a feature from Blxst on “Wait Too Long.”  Buddy goes on to share how he catapulted in the industry by once being perceived as Pharrell’s protege and getting street cred from the late Nipsey Hussle, and shares his thoughts on where he believes West Coast hip-hop stands.

Roddy RIcch has returned to the Power 106 studios and this time, he’s hit up the LIFTOFF show with the L.A. Leakers Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk to run down his latest project ‘The Big 3.’

Speaking with Justin, the Compton-bred rapper has a new outlook on life as he’s bounced back from setbacks but also in tunnel vision on his musical journey and finding success.

Roddy’s current EP couldn’t have come at a better time, as he admittedly shares that he feels people often forget about his level of artistry, which is now on a larger scale and he’s stepped out of his regional Los Angeles upbringing. The rapper is definitely working to maintain respect in the game and continue to level up and a few artists and his peers have looked out for him in a way that he gives people like 21 Savage, Kodak Black, the late Nipsey Hussle, Mustard, Post Malone and more their due flowers.

Roddy has learned a great deal from his peers, more notably the lessons he’s taken away from Hussle and his close friend Posty. Roddy states that he’s learned to be unapologetically himself from Post and he learned about securing energy from the late Nip. Roddy’s ties in the game run deep as he’s built strong relationships in the industry and his unwavering support for the YSL crew, Young Thug, and Gunna is a true testament to that fact.

Speaking on the unfortunate case against YSL, the “Late At Night” rapper shared his perspective on the case and what his friendship with Gunna means to him as the Atlanta native is currently behind bars. With an exclusive and personal invite to pull up to his crib, the L.A. Leakers Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk sat with Brown to discuss everything about his forthcoming album ‘Breezy,’ fatherhood, what he’s learned along the way in his career, and some of his proudest moments.

Brown has been in the game for more than 15 years, and believe it or not, the super performer still hears “no” for ideas and projects that he wants to be a part of.

Surprisingly, Brown admits that he feels overwhelmed by the number of opportunities that he doesn’t get to pursue because no one will support them or believe he can do it. As this has been a learning and growing process for Chris, he also tells the Leakers that he used to delete comments off of his social media account for nearly two years. A lot of Chris’ accomplishments can’t be looked over and for him to continue to run into obstacles at this stage in the game, really is an inspiration for those who are coming up because Chris has proved that everything is about timing.

With her current project, ‘HITGIRL’ setting the pace for what is to come, with an expected tour and more collaborations down the line, Big Dreez’s resumé is continuing to expand with each opportunity she is blessed with.

‘HITGIRL’ is a ten-track album that is entirely produced by LA native Hit-Boy and the two’s undeniable chemistry is felt on the project as both artists worked to incorporate their perspectives on the offering. Speaking on the heavy-hitter list of features on the album, Dreezy explains how guest appearances from Jeremih, Coi Leray, and Future all came together.

As Dreezy snapped on Freestyle #143 with bars over Kanye West’s “Clique,” she opens up about the work she’s put in over the years with Ye and although none of her verses were used for the now-scrapped ‘Yandhi’ album, Dreezy shares the experience and knowledge she gained from consistently working with the genius of Ye.
